The race at Nashville was awesome.
Using local cars for this racing may be the savior of this series. You could scratch the idea of building your own fleet and save those dollars.
If you were to bring these drivers to my area, I would guarantee the local ASA Late Model guys would salivate at the idea of one of the greats running their machines.

The problem with this idea is the same problem they had at Nashville. There is no way those cars were anywhere near even.
If you cant go to a race and feel your favortie legend has an equal shot at winning whyy go. You might as well just hold an autograph session.

You are correct on that point, Shelbysaleen. I wonder how much it would be to get a collection of current Nationwide cars as they change to their new specs...

As for them being equal , The motors that they run are all gm crate motors. The only thing that I see that could have been done a little different would be show up a day earlier to get the cars more comfotable for the drivers. A lot of the drivers werent comfy in the cars they were driving. The seats werent quite right or they realy couldn't figure out how how deep to run in the corners. I think the crews did the best that they could for the time they had . With all of the changes that had to be made.. Over all I just think if they would have had a couple sets of tires to work with the day before I think it would have been even a better race all together.. Although we didn't have to change our car that much at all. We had the shortest driver out of all of them, but then again the one driver that drives the car regularly is a miget lol Lake Speed did a good job !! I hope they keep this going it was realy fun to watch. We would put our car up for it again. And if some of them drivers want to stay with the same body types we can build some for them, as long as we have the funds available ..
