Money, it always comes down to money, look at all the crap NASCAR does trying to make it more exciting so they can keep the fans, keep the interest. Rain tires, The chase, blah blahblah, what they don't seem to realize is theres nothing more exciting to a true fan then a good ole sat night race! Back to basics!
As NASCAR loses their "old school" audience we need to scoop them up They can keep the "trendies" Find these people that miss the old racing and tell them about this site, maybe they'll check it out, maybe if we can get enough fan interest it will bring some sponsorship interest which means some $$$ to get it going on!
When I post at other sites I add something like:
Anyone who remembers what it was like watching Pearson or Gant, Anyone who misses the real racing check out this series and see if you can help get it off the ground! www.osrct.com/
If you guys post other places add something like this, maybe we can get some people to come here and check it out, maybe even people who can lend some support to getting OSRCT off the ground! Most of us don't have the $$ to do it but maybe we can help by bringing people that do?
