He has not retired yet but he won a big dirt track race at Talladega short track this past weekend at age 76.

I didn't know he was even still on this earth! It's really criminal that someone hasn't created a television show that interviews these racing icons in depth, I'm certain it would be great entertainment!

I've had the pleasure of seeing Red Farmer race at Eldora Speedway at the Prelude to the Dream. It is really amazing to watch him out there on the track. You'd never know he was in his seventies because he can keep up and whip some of the best of them.

Unfortunately I live in the Cal. desert. I wont be able to see any of the "Old School" events. Must be really cool to see the "Prelude" and to have seen" Red" race. I will be watching for updates and hope as a "left coaster" I am welcome to this board...FWIW I was practically raised at the old Ascot Park.

Red Farmer is an ICON. He should pull a hylton and try one cup race this year
